**Minimum Online Order: 100 tadpoles**
BULLFROG TADPOLES (Lithobates catesbeianus)
IDENTIFICATION: The larval form of the bullfrog emerges from eggs with gills and a long, flat tail. As the tadpole matures, front and hind legs will develop as the tail dwindles in size.
BIOLOGY: Adult female bullfrogs lay eggs in the spring. Seven to ten days after spawning, the eggs hatch and the tadpoles wiggle free. Bullfrogs take 2-3 years to reach maturity. Once mature, bullfrogs can be harvested and consumed. They are rich in protein and omega-3 fatty acids.
250 tadpoles per acre stocking rate is recommended.
